
That’s a big, big idea, one that you could devote an entire season arc to if The Simpsons were that kind of show. With ‘Twisted World of Marge Simpson’, we get a glimpse into a constant theme of The Simpsons, which is Marge’s squandered potential. With ‘Homer’s Phobia’, it’s obvious that the big lesson here is prejudice and homophobia. You see a lot of deep dives into what makes these characters tick, what their inner monologues may be and how they’re tested. You’ve got a lot of heavy hitters here: ‘You Only Move Twice’, ‘Homer’s Phobia’, ‘The Twisted World of Marge Simpson’.
